The eighth edition of the International Conference for Household Industry took place on 8th May 2018 in Warsaw.
The event was organized by the EPS Media (publisher of the magazine "C&B. Cosmetics & Household Chemicals Market"). The conference brought together more than 200 participants representing 110 companies and organizations from the Polish and European market. It was a record edition (last year: 180 participants and 106 companies and organizations)
Participants listened to 17 presentations (each presentation lasted 20 minutes) discussing the most important issues in the field of market & legislation, innovative solutions, raw materials dedicated to the household industry. The conference was divided into four separate panels. The Warsaw meeting was a great opportunity to make new business contacts, exchange experiences and learn about trends within the sector.
Among the participants of the meeting were owners, CEOs, managing directors, marketing managers and sales representatives of the manufacturing and distribution companies, employees of the R&D departments and representatives of science.

As usual, participants filled out an anonymous questionaire on the level of the conference organization and presented lectures. Assessment can be made on a scale 1-6 (note the higher the better). 80% of the respondents issued the rating 5 and 6 in relation to the organizational level. 73% participants felt that the conference in terms of the level of substantive assessment deserved 5 and 6.
When asked about the greatest strengths of the event, the participants replied that it was a great knowledge and experience of the speakers on the subject of legislative issues and legislation, as well as the practical use of raw materials in formulations. The participants of the conference noticed that it would be good to include in the formula of the event such issues as: detergent certification, quality requirements, the image of the industry. Science topics are also an interesting idea.
The next edition of the conference is planned on spring next year.
