Report from the conference

For the third time EPS Media, publisher of the magazine "Chemistry & Business”, has invited specialists from Poland and Europe to participate in the INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CONSTRUCTION CHEMICALS INDUSTRY.

The event took place in Warsaw (8th of December 2015) and brought together almost 80 industry experts, including representatives of raw materials and distributing companies, manufacturing and providing services companies, trade institutions, industry associations and journalists.

Lectures have been focused on product novelties, technologies, innovative ideas and raw materials launched by the industry leading companies. Speakers focused also on statistics, current market situation, potential and further possibilities to growth of the Polish construction chemicals market. A separate part of the event was a debate attended by the presidents of the largest construction chemicals Polish companies and market analysts.

The main subject of the debate was: “Polish Producers on Foreign Markets. How to Build a Competitive Advantages?. The panelist (Mr. Jacek Michalak, Vice President for Development, Atlas Group; Mr. Maciej Pasternak, Manager in Innovation team, R+D, PwC Polska and Ms. Małgorzata Walczak-Gomuła, President of the Board, ASM - Market Research and Analysis Centre) answered on several questions, eg.:

Does being a leader on the Polish construction chemicals market means being a leader in the European market? Eastern Europe and Western Europe: where more profitable to invest? Do Polish construction chemicals companies have sufficient resources and expertise to effectively operate in Europe? How the potential of research and development can raise the level of export opportunities? Is innovation a way to build advantage in foreign markets?
